France West Coast - Calais to Avranches

Since the 4th century, Bayeux has been home to the Bishop's official seat. The first Bishop in the 4th Century was St Exuperius and since then he has been succeeded by around 90 Bishops. This cathedral started to be used as a parish church in 1792.
